ESL

GENY School provides basic to advanced level English instruction through an integrated-skills approach, which constitutes grammar/structure, listening, speaking, reading, and writing taught through spontaneous interaction. Additionally, our school supports students in assimilating into American culture by incorporating cultural and historical aspects of American life into ESL courses.

Student Enrollment in ESL classes is based on three-month cycle consisting primarily of Grammar and Conversation development. These classes are designed for adult students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in order to further enhance their knowledge of the English language and to help build confidence in their ability to communicate as fluently as possible in their daily lives. The instructors use a variety of integrated skills and culminating activities in order to reinforce topical issues and vocabulary.
